print to pdf not working properly
I'm currently using the printfriendly extension for Chrome. Today, I've noticed that when I use the PDF option, the output doesn't look like what's shown in the preview window. Also, when I try to select a new text size, the preview window updates, but the changes don't go through to the PDF output. Thanks for your help!
We’re on it and will have fixed ASAP. We just launched PDF support for iOS and there’s a bug causing this.
Could you send me the URL of a page the not generating what is in the preview?
Yeah. So for example if you try to print any article from pretty much any website (e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/12/magazine/john-jeremiah-sullivan-ireland.html?hp), in the preview window the article is beautifully formatted with a little icon and the name of the website in the top left-hand corner, the website URL in the top right, and a dashed line right beneath the header. But, when you send to PDF, the site name and URL get jammed together and the header separating line doesn't appear at all. All of the article's content gets printed, so it's not really that much of an issue big picture-wise, but a little annoying nonetheless. Thanks!
